effort to overthrow the Guild and bring the city streets under his
control.

Ubume

One of the many supernatural dangers to be found in the
world of Malifaux, the Jaakuna Ubume appears only in bodies of water - ponds,
rivers, and the like. Legend tells of a lady who - in a fit of insanity -
drowned her children in a lake, before drowning herself in the self same body of
water. She now appears as an apparition which takes the form of an inconsolable
old woman who pleads with anyone unfortunate enough to pass nearby the lake -
she pleads with them to rescue her children, and as the unsuspecting good
samaritan enters the body of water, she drags them beneath the surface to their
watery death.

Resurrectionists forces is unclear, but the mere sight of this beast is enough
to drive all but the boldest of adventurers to despair and
insanity.

townsfolk now fear the night, leaving all lights on in an attempt to deter the
Mother of Monsters.

Once a proud member of the Ortega family, Tuco was
captured by the Nephilim and tortured for days on end. Initially, he withstood
their attempts to extract the secrets of his illustrious cousins - but, with
time the Nephilim broke his spirit - at which point, a pair of grisly horns
emerged from his head, and his blood boiled - Nekima nurtured his latest
convert, and Tuco now fights on the side of the
Neverborn.
