limited edition version of Seiji Kanai’s BraveRats is in the original Japanese
packaging and features art from Kanai’s long-time collaborator Noboru Sugiura
(with all text in English). Because this hard-to-find edition of BraveRats has
been out of print since its original publication in Japan in 2012, it has
become a sought-after treasure for all fans of Seiji Kanai’s prolific catalog
of games.
As
in the U.S. version, both players have a hand of eight cards, numbered 0 to 7,
with each character on the card possessing a special power. Cards are locked in
and revealed simultaneously -- with victory usually going to the highest
strength card, however special powers can easily turn the tables!

The
objective of Crab Stack is to immobilize your opponent’s crabs by landing on
top of them, or washing them away by separating them from the group.
Crab
tokens move a number of spaces according to their size (big pieces move 1
space, medium pieces move 2, and little pieces move 3 spaces). Crabs can only
end their move on a piece their size or smaller. The last crab still able to
crawl at the end of the game is the winner.
